ULTRAMAN : Episode 16

Decades since he last merged with Ultraman, Shin Hayata learns of a new threat to Earth. His son, Shinjiro, also shows signs of superhuman strength.

Wearing a protosuit, Shin is critically injured while saving Shinjiro from Bemular's attack. In desperation, Shinjiro returns to rescue his father.

With Bemular paving the way for other alien species to attack Earth, SSSP's Edo asks Shinjiro to take on the mantle of Ultraman.

Shinjiro is sent on a mission to exterminate a hostile alien, but the target flees into the city, endangering countless civilians.

After uncovering evidence of alien involvement in a string of bizarre homicides, SSSP agent Moroboshi contacts an informant inside an alien enclave.

Shinjiro’s reluctance to execute homicidal aliens deeply concerns agent Moroboshi. Shin shares with his son what it truly means to be Ultraman.

Embattled at first, Shinjiro finds his resolve and activates a latent power during his fight against a hostile alien. Rena prepares for a big concert.

At Rena's concert, an alien calling himself Adad demands a confrontation with Ultraman. Things go from bad to worse when Bemular joins the fray.

Shinijiro fears that his cover may be blown by an underclassman. Later on, he's taken aback when a rogue Ultraman shows up to aid him in battle.

Seiji dreams of a day when aliens are accepted openly on Earth. Hoping to fight for this cause, he pleads with the SSSP to bring him on board.

Seiji has a tense confrontation with Shinjiro and Moroboshi over the use of his powers. Rena asks Shinjiro to give Ultraman a message.

Moroboshi, Shinjiro and the might of the SSSP sets out to protect Seiji on his quest to punish those responsible for the airline tragedy 12 years ago.

The Ultraman trio are fighting a losing battle against the mercenaries, but just when things seem hopeless, Shinjiro's dormant power finally awakens.

While meeting with Rena, Shinjiro suddenly gets a call to stop a rampaging alien. Journalist Kotaro Higashi witnesses the whole incident.

Shinjiro agrees to help test out and develop a new suit better adapted to his changing powers — and he finds himself using it much sooner than planned.

He can't remember what he did, but Shinjiro's forbidden from wearing his suit for a while. His father can't help but feel that there's an Ultraman curse.

Determined to do something, Shinjiro heads out to get his revenge. But then once again, he wakes up with no memory of what happened.

Public sentiment has turned completely against Ultraman. Then suddenly, Mephisto hijacks the airwaves to deliver a message directly to the people.

Ide sends Taro and Moroboshi out to search for Shinjiro, who remains on the run, confused by everything that's been happening to him.

Back in his hideout, Daisuke Arashi tells Shinjiro about his father's past, and they try to narrow down who Mephisto's next target might be.

After getting devastating news, Rena meets with Seiji Hokuto. Shinjiro talks to Daisuke about the strange dreams he's been having about Zetton.

Rena can't understand what just happened to her, so Seiji brings her to meet the alien who raised him. Taro finally finds Shinjiro.

Jack shows up, surprising Taro and Shinjiro. Rena seeks some answers about where her powers come from. The SSSP gets raided by the police.

The fight against Mephisto only strengthens the anti-Ultraman sentiment. Moroboshi and Shinjiro try to break into the heavily guarded SSSP headquarters.

Shinjiro and Rena reveal some secrets to each other. Joined by his friends, Ultraman faces a powerful enemy from the past.

As Shinjiro struggles in his own fight, his friends put everything they can into defeating Zetton. A new chapter begins for the SSSP.
