Farming Life in Another World : Episode 18

Hikaru won’t waste his second chance at life; he will focus on what truly matters. And so, he builds a new home with his own two hands.

As the weeks turn into months, Hiraku’s loneliness grows. He thought he desired a life of solitude, but his wish for companionship grows stronger by the day.

Hiraku and Lu begin their new life together, unaware of the visitors who will soon arrive at their household.

Now that they’ve secured a reliable water source, they can start a rice paddy and build a bathhouse.

With their homestead completed, they turn their focus to food preparation and just in time; Winter is coming.

A surprise attack would have shattered their peaceful lives were it not for the almighty farming tool. As word spreads, their home blooms into a village.

Hikaru realizes the importance of diplomacy when the demon lord and the dragons establish contact with the Great Tree Village.

They say civilization started because of alcohol. In the Great Tree Village’s case, it instigates a misunderstanding between dragons.

Hiraku’s offhand comment leads to a series of events that end with a merchant setting up a trade deal with The Great Tree Village.

Spurred by her followers, the demon lord's daughter attempts to invade the Great Tree Village. "Attempts" being the keyword.

News of the impending birth thrills the villagers, but they aren’t the only ones interested in the good news.

Hiraku’s second chance was just the beginning. As he reflects on the changes that occurred since his arrival, one thing is certain: The Great Tree Village is lively as always.

New residents mean building new homes. There's just one problem: regular houses do not fit the needs of minotaurs and centaurs.

A change of plans is in order. If the current village can't support the new residents, the solution is simple: build more villages.

The Great Tree Village experiences another winter.

What better way to mark a celebration than with a martial arts competition?

From curing an illness to cultivating new crops to even Mountain Elves curating Hiraku’s favor, life in the Great Tree Village is never dull.

A hot springs expedition quickly gets out of hand.

They've dealt with the Lord of Death. Now they need to decide what to do with the black stones.

A feast celebrates the excavation of the black stones.

The passage of time brings change. A new competition is held, Alfred grows older, and new settlers arrive.

The village must face a flying castle inhabited by demons.

Hiraku establishes the newly powered Sun Castle as his fourth village. During a grand festival, he unveils a unifying flag while lightheartedly dodging pressure to take on a royal title.
